Who we are
This policy covers Insuretro.com (“Insuretro”, “we”, “us”). Insuretro publishes insurance guides. We do not sell insurance and we don’t ask you to create an account or submit personal details to read our site.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and keep a record of the conversation.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider and the services described below may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page and the date and time of your visit.

Third-party services on our pages
- Sponsored insurance listings. Some pages load a quote-listing widget from an advertising partner (served from nextinsure.com). When the widget loads, or if you click a listing or enter details on a partner’s site, that partner and the insurers you choose collect information under their own privacy policies.
- Advertising. Pages may include Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage personalized advertising at Google’s Ads Settings page and learn more at google.com/policies/technologies/ads.
- Fonts. We load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.
- Analytics. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. These tools use cookies and collect usage information in aggregated form.
How we use information
We use information to run and secure the site, understand which guides people find useful, reply to messages and meet legal obligations. We don’t sell the personal information we collect for money.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the site (such as our web host), with the third-party services described above when they operate on our pages, if required by law, or as part of a sale or transfer of the website.

Insuretro is intended for adults. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

We keep emails only as long as needed to respond and keep reasonable records. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website can guarantee complete security.
