How Insuretro is paid
Insuretro is free to read. To keep it that way, we earn money in two ways:
- Sponsored quote listings. Some guides include a clearly labelled box of insurance listings provided by an advertising partner. When you click a listing, Insuretro may be paid. Listings are sponsored and are not a ranking or recommendation by us.
- Advertising. Some pages may show display advertising, including ads served by Google.
What this does and doesn’t mean
- Payments do not change the price an insurer offers you.
- Payments do not decide what we write. Our guides mention companies we have no relationship with, and we include figures and drawbacks whether or not a company advertises.
- We don’t publish paid rankings or star ratings.
- Which companies appear in a sponsored listing, and in what order, is decided by the advertising partner and the insurers taking part, not by Insuretro.

Insuretro is a publisher. We are not an insurance company, broker or licensed agent, we don’t sell policies and we don’t give personal advice. Always check coverage details, exclusions and prices directly with the insurer before you buy.
